Banh Mi by Celine Pham. Vietnamese dish by a French Vietnamese in a French Baguette

Interpretation of that Vietnamese Staple- Banh Mi dish by Celine Pham French Vietnamese Chef and also sister of our friend Julien Pham from La Fricote Magazine amazing Parisian Food/Street Food magazine ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fricote-Magazine/128222767221230?ref=ts&fref=ts).
Enjoy the read in French. She is doing a banh mi with pure Vietnamese ingredients (papaya, mango, nuoc mam...) in a pure style french baguette. That dish totally embraces her dual culture, as French Vietnamese, I totally relate to her and her banh mi.

Bun Bo Xao by NYT

One of the classic dish in Vietnamese Cuisine, probably a staple in every Vietnamese household, Bun Bo Xao or also known as Bo Bun (like in France). Perfect dish for a hot summer lunch. This dish and also Bun Thit nuong (pork version) is a great balance of flavors, freshness, texture in a dish. Whenever you are going to a Vietnamese Restaurant and you are not in mood of a Pho/ or a soup ( almost impossible), Bun Bo Xao is a go to. So here is a version by New York Times which finally gives credit to that amazing dish.
